Para 8 of the Holy Quran begins with the words “Wa lau annana nazzalna ilaihimul malaa’ikata…” (And even if We had sent down to them the angels…). This Para continues from Surah Al-An’am and concludes in Surah Al-A’raf.
In the remaining portion of Surah Al-An’am, Allah Almighty presents clear proofs of His Oneness and power. It explains that guidance comes only from Allah and that even the greatest signs would not benefit those who refuse to believe with sincerity. The Para strongly rejects shirk and reminds people that Allah alone controls life, death, and sustenance.
As the Para transitions into Surah Al-A’raf, it begins with reminders about revelation, accountability, and the consequences of denying divine guidance. The story of Prophet Adam (AS) and Iblis is mentioned, explaining how arrogance led Iblis to disobey Allah. This serves as a warning against pride and disobedience.
Para 8 also starts mentioning the stories of earlier Prophets and their nations, highlighting the pattern of calling toward truth and the response of rejection by many people. These accounts encourage believers to remain patient and firm upon faith.
Reciting this Para strengthens belief in Tawheed, accountability, and obedience to Allah’s commands.
