About Taleem360

What is Taleem360?

Taleem360 is a free, community-driven educational platform for students in Pakistan. It’s a place to discover and share textbooks, past papers, entry-test and exam-preparation material, and other study resources — contributed by our community of users and freely available to read online or download, completely free.

Is Taleem360 really free?

Yes — it is 100% free. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no payments of any kind, and we never ask for any billing or financial information. The Service is supported by ads.

Do I need an account to use it?

No. You can search, read, and download books without creating an account or signing in. An account is completely optional and simply unlocks a few extras, such as saving favorites, rating books, and a personal profile.

Is Taleem360 an official or government website?

No. Taleem360 is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any government entity, education board, author, or publisher. All resources are provided for informational purposes and come from material that is freely available in the public domain.

Reading & downloading books

How do I read a book?

Open any book and read it right in your browser — our built-in reader displays PDFs, eBooks, and audio books without any extra software or plugins.

Can I download books, and do I have to log in?

Yes, you can download books for free, and no login is required. Just open a book and tap the Download button to save it to your device for offline reading.

How do I find a specific book?

Use the search bar at the top of the site to search by title, subject, class, or keyword, or browse books by category.

Some books ask for a password — why?

The vast majority of books are open to everyone. A small number may be marked private and require a password to open; if you don’t have one, that title simply isn’t publicly available.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. Taleem360 — Books and Entry Test is available free on Google Play: download the app here.

What does the app add over the website?

The app gives you the same free library with a smoother mobile experience and offline reading — books you download are stored privately on your own device, so you can read them without an internet connection. Your downloaded books are never uploaded back to us or shared with anyone.

Your account

How do I create an account?

You can sign up with your email address and a password, or with one tap using Google Sign-In. If you register with email, we’ll send a 6-digit verification code (OTP) to confirm your address.

What can I do with an account?

A free account lets you save books to your favorites, rate books, and manage your profile — your display name, a short “about” text, social links, and a preset avatar.

Can I make my account more secure?

Yes. You can turn on optional two-factor authentication (2FA) from your profile using any authenticator app. Once enabled, you’ll enter a 6-digit code at login for an extra layer of protection.

I forgot my password.

On the login screen, choose “Forgot password” and follow the emailed instructions to reset it. (Accounts created with Google Sign-In don’t use a password — just sign in with Google.)

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and its data at any time — in the app via Edit Profile → Delete Account, on the website from your profile, or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent. Full step-by-step instructions are on our Account & Data Deletion page.

Content, uploads & copyright

Can I upload and share my own books?

Yes — Taleem360 is a community-driven sharing platform, and much of our library is contributed by users like you. Registered members can upload educational books to share with the wider community, as long as they own the rights to that content or it is otherwise free to share. Uploaders are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to any material they submit.

From time to time we may pause or limit public uploads (for example, for maintenance or quality control). When that’s the case, you can still share content with the community by getting in touch, and we’ll help you add it.

Where does the content come from?

Taleem360 is a public, community platform. Our library is contributed and shared by our users and members, and also includes educational material that is freely available in the public domain. Taleem360 acts as a host and directory for this user-generated and public content, for informational purposes, and does not itself represent any author, publisher, or examination body. If you are a rights holder, please see the copyright question below.

I own the copyright to something here and want it removed.

We respect intellectual-property rights and respond promptly to valid copyright complaints. Because Taleem360 hosts content shared by its community, we rely on rights holders to let us know about any issue: if you believe a book infringes your copyright, email us at [email protected] with the title or link and proof of ownership, and we’ll review and remove it promptly.

How do I report a problem with a book?

If a book is incorrect, inappropriate, broken, or otherwise problematic, use the Report option on the book’s page to let us know and we’ll look into it.

Privacy, ads & safety

Do you show ads?

Yes — ads (Google AdSense on the website and Google AdMob in the app) are what keep Taleem360 free. Where required, you can control ad personalization through the consent options we show you.

How is my personal data handled?

We collect only what’s needed to run the Service, transmit data over secure (HTTPS) connections, and store passwords only in encrypted/hashed form — never in plain text. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
