1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. About the Service
Taleem360 is a free, community-driven educational platform that lets students and teachers find, read, download, and share educational books and study resources. Access to the Service is provided free of charge; there are no subscriptions or paid features.
3. Your Account
Some features require an account. When you create one, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may enable two-factor authentication for added security, and you may delete your account at any time as described on our Account & Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Permitted Use
The Service and its content are provided for your personal, non-commercial, educational use only. You may read and download material for your own learning and teaching. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for these purposes.
5. Intellectual Property
The Taleem360 name, logo, website and app design, software, and other original materials created by us are owned by Taleem360 and/or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Educational books and study resources made available through the Service are contributed by our community of users and/or consist of Open Educational Resources (OER); such content remains the property of its respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any content to you beyond the limited license described above.
6. User Content
“Your Content” means any text, images, files, books, or other material you upload, submit, or share through the Service. You retain ownership of Your Content, but by sharing it you grant Taleem360 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the Service.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and you represent and warrant that: (a) you own it or have all necessary rights to share it; and (b) it does not infringe the rights of any third party or violate any law. Taleem360 does not endorse, and is not responsible for, content shared by users, and may remove any content at any time, without notice, at its discretion.
7. Copyright Policy and Content Removal (Notice & Takedown)
Taleem360 respects intellectual-property rights and acts as a host for content shared by its community. We respond promptly to valid copyright complaints.
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on their behalf, and you believe that content on the Service infringes your rights, please email us at [email protected] with the following:
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- the exact title and link (URL) of the material on our Service;
- sufficient proof that you are the owner of, or authorized to act for, the copyright;
- your name and contact details; and
- a statement that your complaint is made in good faith.
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will review and remove the reported content promptly. We also reserve the right to disable or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly share infringing material.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- sell, sub-license, rent, or otherwise commercialize any material from the Service;
- redistribute or republish Service material in a manner that competes with or harms the Service;
- upload or share content you do not have the right to share, or that is unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringing;
- use the Service in any way that damages it, disrupts it, or impairs other users’ access to it;
- engage in data mining, scraping, harvesting, or any automated extraction of data from the Service;
- use the Service for unsolicited advertising, marketing, or spam;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users’ accounts, or our systems; or
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
We may restrict or withdraw access to all or part of the Service at any time, at our discretion.
9. Advertising and Third-Party Links
The Service is supported by advertising (such as Google AdSense and Google AdMob) and may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, products, policies, or practices of any third-party sites, services, or advertisers. Your dealings with them are solely between you and the third party.
10. Disclaimer — No Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, with all faults and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any purpose. Educational material is provided for general informational purposes only, does not constitute professional, academic, or official advice, and holds no official status with any government, board, university, or institution.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taleem360 and its owners, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss or damage arising out of or in any way connected with your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any content on it.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Taleem360 and its owners, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or remove your account or content, at any time and without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time as we see fit. Updated Terms take effect when posted on this page, and your continued use of the Service means you accept the revised Terms. You are encouraged to review this page from time to time.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be removed or limited to the minimum extent necessary, without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
16. Assignment
Taleem360 may assign, transfer, or subcontract its rights and obligations under these Terms without notice. You may not assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights or obligations under these Terms.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Taleem360 regarding your use of the Service, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan for the resolution of any disputes.
